Product Description
Pearl Ex shimmering pearlescent pigment powders are dry pigments used for a variety of techniques. Mix a small amount of Pearl Ex with epoxy resin to create cloisonné jewelry. This process is sometimes known as cold enameling.
Pearl Ex powder can also be used with EasyCast epoxy resin to create colorful pieces cast from molds. Add a little pigment to tint the resin; add even more for opaque color. For a swirled effect, divide a batch of mixed resin and add a little Pearl Ex to one part. Gently fold and swirl the Pearl Ex part into the remaining resin to create swirls or veins of color. This works especially well to create faux stone or marble.
Make your own custom glass and metal paints using Pearl Ex powders and ITS (find ITS under craft supplies in our shop). Mix a very small amount of Pearl Ex powder with ITS and paint on the surface of metal, glass or tile.
